como uma falua descendo na corrente do rio, assim eu começo este romance. ou direi rimance. águas calmas em primeiro. para logo se agitarem. à razão de um pensamento vou descendo, descendo... quase vislumbro as margens da minha infância ali entre dois salgueiros. chorões. e encolhida entre os caniços a velha bicicleta. vermelha. de selim gasto por uso excessivo. e uma campainha com uma estampa de um ciclista que dava inveja... que se perceba que eu digo que amar-me é fácil. toda a facilidade é uma ilusão. e isto podem confirmar naquela margem do rio anos com a maria de deus. coitada. quantas tardes esperou que eu esgotasse os braços no rio. quinze anos e o corpo que me doía. precisava moê-lo. moê-lo de suor. para me recolher depois nos braços da maria de deus.encharcado. esgotado. a cheirar a limos. sem vontade já de a agarrar. e me deitar com ela nas pedrinhas. mas sempre com os olhos tão brilhantes que ela dizia, vais ficar com febre Assim... tinhamos um ano pela frente. para acabar o romance. naquele tempo todavia eu ainda não o sabia. não. ( beijinho e vou voltar... :))

como uma falua descendo o rio. descendo na corrente deste primeiro romance. a maria descia tantas vezes pelo meu corpo. deus, deus, gritava eu e na boca o sabor dela era todo o sabor de todo o mundo que conhecia. a maria de deus. uma religião tão silenciosa como o sexo que fazíamos ou o amor, deitados, no quente do verão no quente da terra, Assim, à beira do rio, descendo descendo, um no outro.
a vida toda a gente busca esse momento primeiro: a vida toda com o sabor de deus na boca,
